Subject: Venue Enquiry — Training Session for 35 People

Dear Meridian Conference Centre team,

I am writing to enquire about booking a venue for a staff training session for approximately 35 participants. The session is planned for Monday, 9 October, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Based on your website, I believe either Training Room A or B would be suitable. Could you please confirm availability for that date? I would also like to arrange catering for the group — a light morning tea around 10:30 a.m. would be ideal.

I understand that parking is complimentary for all attendees, which is a significant benefit as many of our staff drive to work.

Please let me know the total cost including catering, and whether a deposit is required to hold the booking.

Many thanks,
Helen Okafor

Q1 (C) — Specific detail from email — 'a staff training session for approximately 35 participants.'
Q2 (C) — Specific detail from email — 'I believe either Training Room A or B would be suitable.'
Q3 (B) — Cross-reference — The ad states 'A minimum notice of five business days is required for catering.' Helen's email is dated Tuesday 3 October; the event is Monday 9 October — that is only four business days (Wed, Thu, Fri, Mon). This is one day short of the required notice.
